Key Lime Pie Smoothie Recipe

Sharing is caring!

We’ve really been into the dessert-themed protein shakes lately. Just a week ago, we posted our recipe for a Pumpkin Pie Protein Shake using OLLY’s new protein powder. It was super tasty, guilt-free, and had us craving for more dessert-inspired smoothies.

Pie is basically one of the best foods ever, so why not find an excuse for eating pie for breakfast, right or after the gym?!? The good news? This key lime pie protein shake has a tiny sliver of calories compared to a slice of pie, yet it is packed with all the refreshing and creamy key lime flavor.

Recipe makes 1 protein shake

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop OLLY vanilla protein powder
  • 1 frozen banana (adds great texture, but doesn’t overpower the flavor)
  • ½ cup vanilla almond milk
  • ¾ cup lime juice, not from concentrate (use ½ cup if you would like it less tart)
  • Zest of one lime
  • 1-2 handfuls of ice
  • Whipped cream
  • ½ graham cracker, crushed

If you are looking for a new blender/smoothie maker, check out the new Ninja we got this summer. It is a food processor, blender, and smoothie maker in one, which means less appliances to clutter up your cupboards, yay!

Mix all ingredients into a blender until smooth. Top your yummy creation with whipped cream, additional lime zest and graham cracker crumbles. Also, adding a wacky straw is always a plus. 🙂

Don’t forget, there is still time to click here to sign up for OLLY’s newsletter to receive $5 off their new smoothie line and a chance to win some awesome prizes like a $500 target gift card, $200 to Athleta, or a Harley Pasternak blender!
